Every well organized venture has a purpose, otherwise, nobody would ever try anything new, because branching out away from the norm and the path of least resistance is hard. The purpose of this blog, is to provide a sounding board where I can share my thoughts and ideas in preparation for my upcoming field study this spring/summer to East London, South Africa. This is a divergence from my norm, and it's going to be hard, but I've been looking forward to an opportunity like this my whole life.
I want to go on a field study because . . . well, I guess that will have to wait until after spinning. 'Til then!!
